The Astral Faith

Archive Classification

Archive Classification: Sacred Doctrine — Astral Faith

Known Location

Centered in Alyndor, with Sanctums of Lumina, shrine-houses, and sacred hearths spread throughout the Shattered Dominion.

Known Condition

Ancient and revered, though increasingly strained by the fading light of the Astral Tree, internal division within the Council of Light, and growing doubt among the people of Alyndor.

Associated Factions

The Astral Faith is bound most closely to the Council of Light, the Sanctums of Lumina, the priesthood of Alyndor, and the sacred office of the Astral Maester, while its influence extends into the Crown, noble houses, common shrine-keepers, and all communities that still gather beneath the emblem of the Astral Tree.

Associated Faith

The Astral Faith — worship of the Astral Tree, Queen Aurelia’s sacrifice, and the sacred light channeled through the Primordial Will.

Related Figures

Queen Aurelia, the Star-Born Mother whose sacrifice stands at the heart of the Faith; Caius Solmar, Astral Maester and Keeper of the Sacred Flame; the Council of Light, ancient stewards of doctrine and sacred law; the Astral Prophets, early seers who first interpreted the light of the Astral Tree; and King Valenross, whose Crown remains politically and spiritually bound to the Faith’s authority in Alyndor.

First Recorded Appearance

The Weight of Sin

Threat Level

Severe — not because the Astral Faith is openly hostile, but because its fading light, political influence, internal corruption, and spiritual instability make it one of the most dangerous powers in Alyndor when fractured from within.
